On Wednesday, April 13, 2016, during the ceremony organized in the Conference Room, Centre for Human Rights, Faculty of Law received 100 books as a donation from Council of Europe. The books are in the field of human rights and among them are titles of some of the most recognized experts. The books were officially handed over to Prof. Dr. Sima Avramović, Dean of the Faculty of Law, who expressed appreciation of this gesture and stressed the need for further cooperation. Participants were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Ivana Krstić, who stressed the importance of such quality literature for specialization of students in the field of human rights.
After the ceremonial part, students had an opportunity to hear the lecture of Ms Tatiana Termacic, Head of Human Rights National Implementation Division of Council of Europe, on the topic: "The shared responsibility between the Council of Europe and member states in implementing human rights through cooperation". After the lecture students and professors of the Faculty of Law took part in informal discussion with guests from the Council of Europe.
